Lauren Roe, MS, CCC/SLP and Paige McMullan, MS, CCC/SLP presented at the Texas Speech and Hearing Association Convention in Ft. Worth on February 28, 2019. It was fun to get out of the office and share our expertise with current and future speech-language pathologists throughout the state.
The title of the presentation was "En Route To Certification: Perspectives from a Former CF and Her Supervisor." The presentation explored ways to help recent graduates achieve positions with great companies. In addition, it detailed how future employers can set these new graduates up for success. At Jump Start, we strive to help children reach their full potential. In order to do this, we work diligently to hire, train, and employ the best, most passionate therapists in our field. We shared the strategies we use at Jump Start at the Convention and we hope that we inspired the people who attended the presentation.
