Ashley Dean, MS, CCC-SLP

Ashley received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from Texas Woman’s University and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Wreck ‘em!

She has pediatric experience from public-school, university clinics, and private practice settings. She has treated a variety of ages and disorders such as: intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, genetic disorders, and feeding disorders. She also has experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) including LAMP-Words For Life, Tobii Dynavox, and Proloquo2Go.

Ashley believes in a team based and client-centered intervention focused on individual and family needs. She believes treatment is most successful when parents and professionals work together as a team to help each child reach their full potential. Throughout her career, Ashley has had the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of professionals including: occupational therapists, physical therapists, early childhood intervention specialists, educational diagnosticians, and special education teachers.
 
Ashley currently resides in Fort Worth with her cat, Mr. O’Malley. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming, and reading.
