Ashley Dean, MS, CCC-SLP
Ashley received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from Texas Woman’s University and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Ashley values a team-based, client-centered approach tailored to each individual and family’s needs. She believes the best outcomes occur when parents and professionals work together to help every child reach their full potential. She has treated a variety of ages and disorders such as: intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, genetic disorders, and feeding disorders. She also has experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) including LAMP-Words For Life, Unity, and Proloquo2Go. Ashley has received training in SCERTS — a comprehensive approach that supports social communication and emotional regulation in individuals with autism; PROMPT — a tactile-kinesthetic method for treating speech sound disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech; and Neurodiversity-Affirming Practices — a strengths-based approach that values connection over compliance, honors sensory differences, and supports co-regulation to promote language development.
Ashley lives in Keller with her cat, Mr. O’Malley, and her dog, Jax. She enjoys swimming and spending time with friends and family.
