Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Arizona State University and her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a certified Aural Habilitation Specialist and recognized as a Project Family 2000+ Scholar.As a co-developer of the "Parent's Guide to Cochlear Implantation", Lauren has contributed significantly to the field. She served on the Executive Council of the Texas Speech and Hearing Association (TSHA) and was a lead presenter at the TSHA Convention on "Guiding Families through Cochlear Implantation." In 2018 and 2019, she collaborated with Paige Vidrine to equip clinical fellows and supervisors during their fellowship experiences, presenting at both ASHA and TSHA conventions. Her recent presentation at the ASHA Convention in 2021 focused on "Building a Unified Team." In addition to empowering her team and helping children reach their fullest potential, Lauren also provides families with essential tools for maximizing progress.As a proud co-owner of Jump Start Pediatric Therapy Center, LLC, Lauren balances her professional commitments with her family life, enjoying time with her husband Wesley and their three daughters, Audrey, Kiley, and Hayley.
