Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Arizona State University and her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She became an Aural Habilitation Specialist through the training program at University of Texas at Dallas and is a Project Family 2000+ Scholar.
Lauren also co-developed the "Parent's Guide to Cochlear Implantation: Interactive CD-ROM." She has been a member of the Executive Council for the Texas Speech and Hearing Association (TSHA) and presented "Guiding Families through Cochlear Implantation" at the TSHA Convention (Lead Presenter). In addition she presented at the 2018 ASHA convention in Boston. She has an enthusiasm for helping children achieve their full potential while providing their families with the necessary tools to maximize their progress.
Lauren is married to Wesley and they have 3 daughters, Audrey, Kiley, and Hayley.
