Lyndsey Tatum, MS, CCC/SLP

Lyndsey received both her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Christian University. Go Frogs!

 

She has pediatric experience from public-school, university clinics, and private practice settings. She has treated a variety of ages and disorders such as: Autism, intellectual disabilities, receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, and fluency (stuttering) disorders. She also has experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) including LAMP-Words For Life, Tobii Dynavox, Proloquo2Go, and low-tech options including PECS and choice boards. 

 

Lyndsey believes in a team based and client-centered intervention focused on individual and family needs. In her opinion, treatment is most successful when parents and professionals work together to support communication across all environments. Throughout her career, Lyndsey has had the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of professionals including: educational diagnosticians, licensed specialists in school psychology, hearing specialists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, early childhood intervention specialists, and special education teachers. 

 

Lyndsey currently resides in Fort Worth with her husband, Mark, and their dog, Kaia. She enjoys reading, traveling, golfing, playing with Kaia, and spending time with family and friends.
