Taylor Heckroth, MS, CCC/SLP
Taylor received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The University of New Mexico and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Wreck ‘em!
Taylor has extensive pediatric experience across a variety of settings and populations including but not limited to: university clinics, home health, public-school, and private practice. Taylor has had the opportunity to work with a variety of professionals throughout the course of her career including: occupational therapists, physical therapists, audiologists, early childhood intervention specialists, board certified behavioral analysts, nurses, educational diagnosticians, and special education teachers.

Throughout her career Taylor has worked with children with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism, Down syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, intellectual disabilities, genetic disorders, Selective mutism, etc. She also has experience and extended training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) including LAMP-Words For Life, Unity, Tobii Dynavox, and Proloquo2Go.
Taylor believes in collaborative client-centered intervention in order to target individual family needs. She believes treatment is most successful when parents and professionals work together as a team in order to help each child reach their full potential.
 

Taylor currently resides in Fort Worth with her cat, Cosmo. She enjoys going to church, spending time with her family and friends, watching sports, and spending time in the outdoors.
