Katie Fernandez, MS, CF/SLP
Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Christian University.
She has pediatric experience from university clinics, public schools, and private practice settings. Her experience includes articulation, early and school-age language, voice, feeding/swallowing, and fluency (stuttering and cluttering) disorders. Katie has also worked with children with Down syndrome and Autism. She has a special interest in school-age language and fluency disorders, and worked as a diagnostic clinician in the Lang Stuttering Institute at UT Austin.
Katie believes in a family centered intervention, focused on each child’s unique needs. She strives to provide accessible and practical research-based treatment that benefits the whole child.
Currently, Katie lives in Fort Worth. She loves coffee, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
